THE VENUE

The 2012 National 4x4 & Outdoors Show and Fishing & Boating Expo will be held at the Melbourne Showgrounds from 24th – 26th August 2012.

The Showgrounds are a well-loved Melbourne venue, famous for hosting the annual Royal Melbourne Show, in addition to a range of other special events, conferences, functions, exhibitions and trade shows. The showgrounds are conveniently located just north of the Melbourne CBD in the inner suburb of Ascot Vale and offer ample parking with public transport close by.

Public Transport

The number 57 West Maribyrnong tram stops on Epsom Road right outside the entrance to the Melbourne Showgrounds. The number 57 tram proceeds along Elizabeth Street in the city, via Victoria Parade, through North Melbourne and on to West Maribyrnong. Train stations at Ascot Vale or Newmarket are a short tram ride to from the Melbourne Showgrounds.

Bus Routes 404 and 472 service Epsom Road and/or Langs Road

There is also a taxi rank located on the corner of Epsom & Union Roads, to the east of the Gate 1 entry to the Showgrounds.
