Melbourne’s 4x4 Show line-up intensifies

Already proving to be a dominant force in outdoor demonstrations, Melbourne’s National 4x4 & Outdoors Show, Fishing and Boating Expo is smashing expectations with 18 camper trailer companies already confirmed to showcase the latest camper trailers in Australia.

The increasing popularity in outdoor activities, in particular caravan and camping, has seen the number of exhibitors increase significantly at this year’s show with 95% of the 4x4 display area already sold out.

Mark Petersen from the National 4x4 & Outdoors Show, Fishing and Boating Expo said, “The show continues to grow from strength to strength, 4x4 hall 1 is already sold out and 4x4 hall 2 has only a handful of sites available. The fishing and boating hall is looking like it will sell out too.”

“This show attracts the best of the best and the camper trailers are exceptional. The 18 companies already confirmed will have the very latest products on the market with all budgets in mind,” he continued.

Conqueror Australia will be one of the exhibitors giving Victorian guests the chance to see their brand new range of camper trailers for the first time at the show, to be held at the Melbourne Showgrounds over Father’s Day weekend.

Conquerer Australia’s Business Development Manager Dan Bosschieter said, “This will be the first time Victorians get to see the range of Urban Escape Vehicles. We are new to the market and will be bringing our full range to Melbourne.”

“After launching in Queensland at the 4x4 Show and receiving the amount of interest that was generated it would be silly to launch into the Victorian market any other way.

“With a product that did not even have a review about its ability in the bush to starting sales on the second day of launch says a lot about the show and the crowd that it draws. So the natural conclusion was that this show accommodates the market that we are in. It brings the genuine buyers who are well informed and looking to hit our great back yard,” he stated.

Track Trailers will release their exciting new Tvan Murranji at the show which will continue the winning concept of the existing range, plus added extra’s including 23% more space.

As an enthusiastic attendee of the show, Track Trailer’s Marketing and Media Manager Lloyd Waldron is eager to make a return and reveal the companies new product.

“For more than 10 years now, we've consistently attended the National 4x4 Fishing & Camping Expo. This show environment is perfect for our products, as it's extremely targeted to our demographic, and it provides a large array of services for all exhibitors, big or small,” explained Waldron.

“Since the move to the Royal Show Grounds, the show seems to be getting bigger and better. We've been blown away by the crowds and impressed by the level of interest from the consumers. We're excited to see what 2010 holds,” he said.

For the first time this year, Red Rock Campers will also showcase their innovative rear fold ute back camper which, specially designed to fit every ute, is set to add comfort to camping.

Petersen said, “We have had a huge response to this year’s show which is visible in the number of exhibitors, not to mention, ticket sales are going through the roof. Every year we just get bigger and bigger because people are eager to be the first to check out the hottest products.”

“We have also secured a parking deal with Flemington Racecourse. Shuttle busses will run direct from the Flemington Road Racecourse car park to the main door.

“Visitors travel to the show because they know we have a passion for the outdoor industry and we want to share it with them. We have awesome entertainment for all ages and the event falls on Father’s day this year, which makes it the perfect dad’s day out,” he explained.

Tickets are on sale to Melbourne’s National 4x4 & Outdoors Show, Fishing and Boating Expo, to be held over Fathers Day weekend on the 3-5 September 2010.
