4x4 Show adventures Far North with Grant Denyer

The National 4x4 & Outdoors Show, Fishing and Boating Expo will join forces with Australian television personality and Channel 7 Sunrise presenter Grant Denyer for his ride through the Far North.

Denyer and his fellow riders will embark on their journey this morning and leave from theNovotel Cairns Oasis Resort at 9.00am on board Yamaha’s latest trail adventure weapon, the XT 660 Super Tenere.

The team plan to travel over 1,000km and camp in different locations each night, which is sure to be a star contrast to the 5 Star hotels Denyer would usually experience in his day to day role as one of Channel 7’s leading television personalities.

On board a fleet of the latest edition of Yamaha’s and supported by the Channel 7 telecast, the team will televise through their new and custom built 4x4 outside broadcast unit which was specifically built for the trip and is capable of beaming live television from the most remote and inaccessible parts of our great country.

Denyer and his support crew plan to do three live weather crosses each day from Monday to Friday for Sunrise viewers whilst giving them and insight into the amazing opportunities that the off-road lifestyle has to offer.

The team will have the added advantage of local knowledge in the form of an expert tour guide and Australian motorcycling and off-road personality Roy Kunda of Cape York Motorcycle Adventures.

Petersen said, “Grant and the TV crew are going to have the ultimate Adventure with tour guide Roy Kunda. I’ve been lucky enough to do two Cairns to Cape York rides, plus two 4wd/fishing adventures with Roy. If Grant has half the fun I had, he won’t want to come back.”
