Austruck 4x4 Extreme

Only the strongest will survive in a unique battle of strength between the toughest 4x4 vehicles at the National 4x4 Show & Outdoors Expo in Brisbane, March 23 - 25.

The AUS TRUCK Extreme 4x4 competition, presented by 4WDTV and DirtComp Magazine, will be a feature attraction and is sure to capture the interest of an anticipated 35,000-strong crowd at the expo’s RNA Showgrounds venue.
The invitation-only event is designed to bring the sport to the people – literally. 4x4s will tackle two purpose-built tracks just metres from spectator-lined grandstands.

‘100 Metres of Hell’ is the first challenge and requires competitors to muscle their way up, over and through obstacles without the use of winches.

As the name implies, the second track, ‘City Winch Challenge’ allows the use of vehicle winches, ensuring a path of even greater obstacles to clear.

Competitors will practice on the event’s opening day, Friday March 23rd, before taking to the tracks for the no-holds-barred competition on Saturday the 24th and Sunday the 25th of March.

4x4 sport is growing rapidly, encompassing the disciplines of rally, safari and extreme. We don’t have quite enough room to have Craig Lowndes race his winning Australian Safari 4x4 so extreme 4x4 competitions is our next option!
